Hibiscus Kombucha Recipe

How was your summer? Now that the local schools are back in session, I know that the cooler weather is coming.  Good things come to those that wait.

I don’t know if you heard, but we had a surprise baby boy, Nigerian dwarf goat, born on the property the evening we return home from our summer vacation.  He was born on June 5.  He has been such a joy.  The mama and baby have been doing well and he is now old enough to find a new home. If you know anybody looking for a companion goat, we have just the one!!

We are always looking for ways to ingested fermented foods.  One that my family enjoys is kombucha.  We have been buying it at the store instead of sugar pop or soda.  Well, the store bought kombucha might be tasty but they cost almost $5 a bottle.  Did you know you can make it at home for pennies?

I now make my own kombucha and pour it into those store bought jars and chill in the fridge to drink during the day.  We don’t drink this like water but treat it like a vitamin or a supplement.

I would LOVE for you to try this at home.  I sent the recipe to all my subscribers.  If you didn’t receive it, click the gift link on the homepage and hit the signup button.  I will send it immediately to you.

I have scoby available to purchase if you need one.  Let me know if your family loves it as much as mine does!

Have a happy and safe Labor Day!

Cheers,

Mrs. Porter
